Glitch Party is an improvisation scheme created by Francesco Giomi, based on the extensive use of residual material. According to this approach, the performers are totally free to join and to leave the improvisation whenever they want.
This live recording presents a free group improvisation based on the “glitch” concept, performed during the first TRK. Glitch Club event in February 2022 in Florence.
The large instrumental palette of this septet allows for a deep investigation of the glitch theme : discontinuity, harshness, but also more subtle forms of fragmentation.
