Haus Music grew from my ‘confinement tracks’ series that I started to develop and publish online nightly when the Covid-19 pandemic hit Finland.
It all started as a loose venture into software synthesizers and Euclidian rhythm engines, but quickly my production sessions became an essential way to engage in a meaningful action during the lockdown. Cut from my friends and colleagues, fellow musicians, I would dive again and again into my synth tracks and beats, losing my sense of time and gaining a sense of being alive.
As the sound of Haus Music started to emerge, it revived long-forgotten connections to my musical roots in the 90’s techno and rave culture. It’s a sound of joy and energy. Music to dance to and to think with, for each of us in our separate capsules of time, space and mind.
