LLIAN emerged from the encounter of musicians Nicola Lancerotti and Florian Guibert. From the first day, the musical dialogue that naturally took place between the two protagonists sparked the need for more.
LLIAN is a project revolving around sound, how it is generated, how it is modified, how it is directed, where it comes from, how it affects people’s perception.
Mixing acoustic instruments with electronic sounds, field recordings or Chinese epic tales, the first thing that our first experimentations evoked were nocturnal creepy-crawlies and sea salps.
