Julien Bayle is an independent artist based in France, merging visual art & design, music composition and physical approach of sound art by designing installations and audio/visual live performances. He uses field recording, modular synthesizers, max/msp programming for creating his own tools for exploring microsound, granular synthesis & continuum disruptions. Brutalist architecture, hauntology & deconstruction are some of his main inspirations.
He seeks to depict a world saturated by meaningless informations , societies’ complexity through a positive-nihilist kind of deconstruction of processes, structures and results.
He performs & exhibits his work internationally in festival & galleries like ELEKTRA in Canada, Todays Art in Netherlands, ACT Festival in South-Korea, Day for Night in US, David Roberts Art Foundation in London, for the main ones.
He teaches creative technology & new media art as guest teacher in various art schools in Europe & outside.
