Italian Berlin-based musician and sound designer, Julian started studying piano when he was a child.
After an approach to various musical instruments, he studied sound engineering and electronic music. Then he started touring with several bands, artists, and projects, spacing different kinds of music. In 2017 he made “Lonely light”, soundtrack for the Natgeo musical contest Genius, where he received personal appreciation from the judges of the competitions, Lorne Balfe and Hans Zimmer. This composition represents in some way the milestone of his solo project.
His music blends the obsessive and cyclic nature of electronic beats with classical and ambient atmospheres. Prepared pianos, loops, synthesizers, and sampling all meet in his melancholic soundscapes.
His first solo album Four Dimensional Waves was released in 2019 by Hush Hush Records, a Seattle based electronic music label. The same label released in 2020 the EP “Parallel Worlds”, in collaboration with Japanese violinist Tukico (aka Hoshiko Yamane), a member of Tangerine Dream. His latest Ep Waterpiano was released in February 2022, as a collaboration with 3 visual artists : Yoshi Sodeoka, Chris Waters and the duo Magnificent Matter.
After moving to Berlin, in 2023 he started working with the award-winning producer Francesco Donadello, and in a duo with electronic musician and software developer Massimiliano Cerioni.
