Francesco Gherardi is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, expert in Eastern and African music performance and culture.
He specialized in tabla (Indian classical percussion) with masters Nihar Metha and Pandit Puran Maharaj.
He works on soundtracks, Indian kathak dance performances, as well as Ivorian and contemporary dance, developing a personal approach on object manipulation and body percussion.
In 2022 he joined the Strufaldi / Rosati duo to create a new project in trio, which resulted in the “t” album (out on June 2, 2023).
