Based in Milan, Alessandro Chemie has over 15 years of experience in chemistry and sound synthesis. His journey from chemistry to synthesizers saw the translation of laboratory experiments into sound research.

Following an eclectic journey that included experiences in Detroit techno (as Chemie), power electronics (as Schlechte Chemie), and live improvisation (as Psalm 7:5), in 2022 he has published for Elli Records his first full-length album under this new moniker.

He co-created “Sauvage,” an experimental contemporary circus performance on aerial rope. This performance delves into the interplay between the past and the future, fostering deep connections between music and the human body. Today his modular live performances involve various artistic expressions, spanning from video to light installations.

He has performed at: Manifesta 13 Marseille, Tresor Berlin, Varvara Festival Turin, Zasavje Noisefest International, Drugstore Belgrade, Macao Milan, and Astron Bar Athens.
